Archive page

A page head, a search field and collection chips, the totals, then everything published in one year-grouped .col-order.

Every post, episode, issue and log entry, across every collection, newest first — grouped by year rather than by collection.

A year, then .col-order again

The spine every trip, career history and webseries season already uses — grouping by year is the only new idea.

.col-order + a per-collection tag — called from archive_row() itself, so this cannot drift from the real page

The visual tag is three signals, not one

The archive is the one page where a reader cannot tell what kind of thing they are looking at from context, so every row says. Icon, label, and a hue on the node — three signals, so it survives greyscale, colour-blindness and CSS-off. The hues ride the same ladder ph() uses, which is why ten kinds read as one set rather than ten separate colour decisions.

Search leads, browsing follows

An archive is the one page where search beats browsing: people arrive knowing roughly what they want. Both the field and the chips are the collection vocabulary, unchanged.

.col-search · .col-tags · .col-tagaria-current marks the active cut

The totals

How much is here, before the list of what it is.
